Jordan trained as an electrician and spent eleven years on the tools before moving into site and project management at Morgan Lovell — one of the UK's leading commercial design-and-build contractors. There he managed fit-outs and refurbishments for some of London's most demanding clients, learning the health and safety standards, programme management and quality control that the commercial world takes as a given.
Benchmark is what happens when you take that level of rigour and apply it to people's homes. As Jordan puts it: "home renovations are easy in comparison — most builders just don't run them with the same discipline."
